JAMES RIVER, NS – The Thanksgiving Special event planned for Saturday at Riverside International Speedway has been postponed until Sunday (Oct 13), due to several forecasts showing a wet Saturday. The tough decision was made in collaboration with management of the East Coast International Pro Stock Tour and the Maritime Allstar Series, running street stock and mini stock races.

Sunday’s start time is 1 p.m. Pit gates open at 9 a.m. Grandstand gates will open at Noon.

The event will see the championship-deciding Scotia Diesel 155 for the East Coast International Pro Stock Tour, the Nickerson Auto Salvage 55 for the Dulux Paint MASS Street Stocks, and the Eastern 2.0 Waste Systems 55 for the Whispering Winds MASS Mini Stock. Heat races will set the fields for all three feature races. The event will climate with the crowning of the 2024 East Coast International Pro Stock Tour champion.

Tickets for Sunday are available in advance at www.riversidespeedway.ca and at the gate starting at Noon. Tickets issued for Sept 7 and Oct 12 are valid for Sunday (Oct 13).
