HALIFAX, NS – Management for the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour (PST) are pleased to announce their 2016 racing schedule. The region’s premier stock car racing series will make stops in five major markets in all three Maritime Provinces during the 2016 season.

The season kicks off at Scotia Speedworld with a 100-lap event on Saturday, May 21. The series will make three additional stops at the Halifax-area facility including a 150-lap feature on Saturday, June 18, the 17th annual Atlantic Cat 250 on Saturday, August 13 and the series 200-lap season finale on Saturday, September 17.

The Tour will also visit Riverside International Speedway . The high banked track will host two 150-lap races on Saturday, June 11 and Saturday, September 10 along with the much anticipated IWK 250 which will take place on Saturday, July 16. The PST schedule announcement finalizes Riverside’s 2016 schedule with six special events.

Support classes for the Riverside events will be announced as available.

New Brunswick will host four events on the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour’s 16th season. The first of which will take place on Saturday, June 25 at Petty International Raceway, and then with two more appearances at the Moncton-area track, a 100-lap feature on Saturday, July 23 and a 150-lap event on the 52nd River Glade International on Saturday, August 27.

Speedway 660 will host the only stop for the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour in the Fredericton area with a 100-lap feature event slated for Saturday, July 2.

Fans on Prince Edward Island will be able to see their favorite drivers battle it out for 100-laps on the tight confines of Oyster Bed Speedway on Saturday, July 30, the only stop scheduled for the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour on Prince Edward Island for 2016.

Race sponsors and support classes for each PST event will be released in the coming weeks.
