Management of Riverside International Speedway is pleased to announce an extended partnership with Lucas Oil as the sponsor for the Lucas Oil 150 on September 10.
Lucas Oil joined the Riverside corporate family in 2011 and has been sponsoring the fall Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour event in James River ever since. In the five years under the Lucas Oil banner the event has seen five different winners, three from Nova Scotia (George Koszkulics, John Flemming and the defending winner, Donald Chisholm) and two from New Brunswick (the late Mike Stevens and Shawn Tucker.)
The event is the third stop of 2016 at Riverside for the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour; the first is June 11 for the Ron MacGillivray Chev Buick GMC 150 and the second is the IWK 250 Presented by Steve Lewis Auto Body on July 16. Besides the three pro stock events, Riverside International Speedway will host the NASCAR Pinty’s Series for a 300-lap race on August 19.
The Lucas Oil 150 is the season finale for Riverside and round 11 of 12 on the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour, often playing a pivotal role in the series final standings.
The NAPA Sportsman Series will provide support class action for the Lucas Oil 150 on September 11 with the Highland Home Building Centres 75
Advance tickets for the Riverside International Speedway season opener on June 11, the Ron MacGillivray Chev Buick GMC 150, will be available the week of May 23.
