Working journalists are welcome to apply for media credentials to cover events at Riverside International Speedway (RIS).
All applicants must be 18 years of age or older. Media qualifications will be determined by RIS staff; applying for a Media Credential does not guarantee approval.
Tips for getting your credentials processed quickly and efficiently:
- Submit your Media Credential Application (online form follows) at least one week prior to the event
- Be prepared to submit examples of your work, if requested
Working journalists are defined as those covering events, pre and post-race, for an accredited media outlet. Social media pages will only be considered if the number of followers exceeds 20,000. Writers and photographers credentialed for editorial purposes are not permitted to sell stories/images, use images on items produced for sale, or provide images/content to anyone other than the outlet they are credentialed for. RISÂ will have access to all content/images for its use, at no charge.
Please allow at least seven business days for the credential application to be processed. If successful, you will receive a confirmation by email. If you do not hear from us within seven business days please contact us at info@riversidespeedway.ca at least 96 hours prior to the event.
Media Credentials should be picked up at the pit gate on race day. You will be required to sign a waiver. Your credential will provide access to the pit and grandstand area. Interview requests can be handled in advance – please call 902-863-2410. To be added to our News Release distribution list please email info@riversidespeedway.ca (subject ‘MEDIA REQUEST’)
