Management of Riverside International Speedway is pleased to host the Lucas Oil 150 on September 8; the event will be the season finale for Riverside and the second-to-last championship points race of the year for the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour.

Lucas Oil joined the Riverside fraternity in 2011 and has been sponsoring the late summer event in James River ever since. In the seven years under the Lucas Oil banner, the event has seen five different winners, three from Nova Scotia (George Koszkulics, John Flemming and two-time and defending winner Donald Chisholm) and two from New Brunswick (the late Mike Stevens and Shawn Tucker.) Chisholm has won the last three editions of the Lucas Oil 150 at Riverside.

The Lucas Oil 150 is the third stop of 2018 at Riverside for the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour; the first is June 16 and the second is the IWK 250 Presented by Steve Lewis on July 14. Besides these three events, Riverside International Speedway will host the Napa Sportsman Series on August 17 and the NASCAR Pinty’s Series for the Bumper to Bumper 300 on August 18.

The Lucas Oil 150 at Riverside often plays a pivotal role in the series final standings. The Napa Sportsman Series will provide support class action on September 8.

Advance tickets for Riverside races are available online approximately three weeks prior to each event, starting in late May for the June 16 show.

Riverside International Speedway is recognized as a premiere stock racing facility in Canada. The 1/3-mile high-banked asphalt oval roars to action several times a year for special events. It is the home of the IWK 250 – widely known as the best stock-car race in Canada, and of the Bumper to Bumper 300 – eastern Canada’s only NASCAR event. Located in James River, between New Glasgow and Antigonish, the facility is easily accessible at exit 30 on Trans Canada Highway 104.
