Working journalists are welcome to apply for media credentials to cover events at Riverside International Speedway (RIS).

All applicants must be 18 years of age or older. Media qualifications will be determined by RIS staff; applying for a Media Credential does not guarantee approval.

Tips for getting your credentials processed quickly and efficiently:

  • Submit your Media Credential Application (online form follows) at least one week prior to the event
  • Be prepared to submit examples of your work, if requested

Please allow at least three business days for the credential application to be processed. If successful, you will receive a confirmation by email. If you do not hear from us within three business days please contact Paul McLean at 902-863-2410 or info@riversidespeedway.ca at least 72 hours prior to the event.

Media Credentials should be picked up at the pit gate on race day. You will be required to sign a waiver. Your credential will provide access to the pit and grandstand area. Interview requests can be handled in advance – please call 902.444.0703. To be added to our News Release distribution list please email info@riversidespeedway.ca (subject ‘MEDIA REQUEST’).

Riverside International Speedway (RIS) offers no guarantee that Media Credentials application will be approved. By using a Media Credential or any other form of admission which may be offered to RIS events you are agreeing to abide by all rules of conduct posted by RIS which may be amended at any time without notice. | If requested you will supply, without charge, copies of your work at the Event for use in RIS promotions. | Media Credentials are non-transferrable. | You agree that you, and any minors which may accompany you, are attending RIS events at your own risk and release RIS, its affiliates, directors, officers, agents and employees from any and all liability for injury or other loss relating to the Event, whether such injury or other loss is caused by any person’s negligence or otherwise. Furthermore, RIS, its successors and assigns, shall have the unrestricted right and license to use your image, likeness, name, and/or voice, and/or those of any minor accompanying you, in any live or recorded broadcast, telecast, picture, video, audio, audiovisual and/or other recording taken in connection with the Event or other transmission, distribution, public performance, or reproduction in whole or in part of the Event, for all purposes, worldwide, in perpetuity, and in any and all media now or hereafter known, without compensation to any person. The rights granted herein are assignable. | RIS may decline any application without cause or question; Media Credential applications are not guaranteed until a confirmation letter is sent to the applicant by email.
