A wet forecast for Sunday and Monday has forced the two days of racing planned for Canada Day Weekend event to be condensed into one. Saturday’s show will now see an amazing 450 laps of feature racing, two 150s for the NASCAR Canada Series and a 150 for the East Coast International Pro Stock Tour. The Hot Rod Classics and MASS Mini Stock portion of Sunday’s show will be postponed to a later date.
The start time for Saturday’s show remains unchanged at 5 p.m., gates open at 1:30 with NASCAR Canada Series practice and group qualifying at 1:45 p.m., practice for the ECI Pro Stock Tour at 2:30 p.m., a 30-minute autograph session at 4 and racing at 5 – a detailed format is below.
Admission for Saturday is $50. Sunday tickets can be upgraded to a general admission ticket for today for $10. Tickets not used for Sunday’s show will be refunded next week. Combo Pass holders will receive at $25 refund; those who paid by credit card will receive it automatically next week. Those who paid cash should email info@riversidespeedway.ca with their ticket numbers.
