JAMES RIVER, NS (August 17, 2013) – Phillip Barkhouse Jr. started shotgun on the field in the Highland Home Building Centre 50 for the Napa Sportsman Series at Riverside International Speedway Saturday night taking the lead on lap 42 for the win. Shawn Waterfield finished second and Cory Breen was third.
Dave Timmons led the most laps and was on the point when the engine in his No. 47 expired giving the lead to Aaron Boutilier, but just a lap later Boutilier’s No. 4 broke and a hard-charging Barkhouse inherited the number one spot. Four cautions slowed the race which took just 38 minutes to complete.
