Management for Riverside International Speedway is pleased to announce the IWK 250 Rookie of the Race bonus, sponsored by Antigonish’s Air Energy Solutions.

The top three rookies in the 2025 edition of the IWK 250 Presented by Steve Lewis will receive bonus payouts, as follows: 1st – $500, 2nd – $300, and 3rd – $200. To be eligible, drivers must declare rookie status on the 2025 IWK 250 competitor registration, expected to open in May.

“This is a great addition to the IWK 250,” said Joan Roue, track manager. “Bonus payouts for younger drivers just starting their pro stock careers show our appreciation for them and their choice to enter the IWK 250. We can’t thank Air Energy Solutions enough for sharing this vision and supporting it with their sponsorship.”

The IWK 250 Presented by Steve Lewis is set for July 19 and is the highlight of the IWK 250 Super Weekend, which kicks off on Wednesday, July 16, with the new-for-’25 Dash 4 Cash $5k-to-win non-sanctioned pro stock race. Thursday, July 17, will feature the IWK 250 Tailgate Party. On Friday, July 18, it’s the Auto World MASS Sportsman Series and the Cross Roads Legends Tour, and on Saturday it’s the cars and stars of the IWK 250.

Limited space remains in the camping sections; reservations are available at www.riversidespeedway.ca. Tickets for the IWK 250 Super Weekend events are expected to be available in May.
